Public Notice is hereby given that the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Town Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 7:30 p.m., when the following applications will be heard:  
John Williams, 285 Long Hill Street, Requests a variance from Section 214.2(e) Accessory Structures to permit a shed 240 sq. ft. making the total of all accessory structures 1032 sq. ft. requiring a variance of 252 sq. ft. (Zone R-2)[Postponed from the October 27, 2011 meeting]
OTD Construction, LLC, 588 Silver Lane, Requests a variance form Section 209.1(c) Parking, to permit a driveway with parking within 2 feet of the westerly property line. (Zone R-3)
Steve Weinstein, 1375 Silver Lane, Requests a variance from Sections 302.1 Permitted Uses and 205.1 Non-conforming Uses to permit the erection of greenhouses for growing plants and flowers. (Zone R-2)
Hazel Hopkins, 268 Silver Lane, Requests a variance from Section 228.2(h) General Requirements for Drive-Through Facilities, to permit a “menu board” of 45 sq. ft. requiring a variance of 25 sq. ft. (Zone B-2)
